As a Christian, I think I can say that. I don't know. It may depend on what denomination I ask or something.
I read Pastor/Faculty Member Jack Black's letter last week. Pastor Black seems cool. He makes my head hurt though.
He decided to confront students who are Christians about the atheist debate.

The Rice Thresher, Rice University, TX

During my time at Rice, I was one of "those people." I lived on-campus for one year, moved off-campus for sophomore year and never came back. I went pretty deep OC my junior and senior years. Spending lots of dead time in the Rice Memorial Center during my three years off-campus has taught me one thing: Rice needs better resources for off-campus students.

I love blogs. News blogs, tech blogs and such, those are nice. But the best blogs are those personal blogs: Livejournal, Xanga, etc., because it is there where you can find real information. Blogs that provide analysis and whatnot just provide a new avenue to information that is already out there.

Editor's note: The following is a Daily Texan -30- column. In the typewritten days of the newspaper industry, "-30-" dentoed the end of a story. A -30- column gives graduating staff members an opportunity to reflect and speak their minds. For the past year, The Daily Texan readers have most likely known me as no more than a bold-faced name at the top-right corner of the Opinion Page - a faceless, easy target of negative energy concerning issues in the Texan and the world around us, a media contact for activists or promoters with agendas, a listening ear for idle prisoners looking for pen-pals.

This is it, McNeese-my final column of the semester.
During my short tenure as a live music columnist for The Contraband, I have had the privilege of being entertained by a number of local and out-of-area bands. I have thoroughly enjoyed writing to you every week, McNeese, and exposing the existence of a fun and vibrant music scene in the lake area.
